- 1 or 2 shots of espresso
- 1/2 cup steamed milk
- 2 tablespoons of caramel syrup
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Caramel syrup, for decoration
- Make the espresso.
- Add the syrup to a glass.
- Pour the espresso over the syrup.
- Steam the milk until hot and frothy, then pour over the espresso.
- This is where the whipped cream comes in, if you will.
- Drizzle the caramel syrup over the whipped cream or whipped cream.
- Serve and enjoy your Caramel Macchiato!
